Through the years.

This post is dedicated to my grandparents who celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary last June 24 2012 at Sweet Harmony Gardens, Taytay.Rizal. Yeah yeah, I know I should've posted this long ago but I just thought of it just now. Hahahaha. Sorry.

Uncle Pat and Auntie Cres was my granddad siblings. And this wedding was sorta a reunion of the Sta.Ana family because most of them are US based and some live in Baguio. So practically this is the first I met them because they when I was just a baby. Their comments about me is that they didn't expect me to be this tall, and they kept on saying that they were the one who took care of when I was a baby, and they always borrow me from my parents to spend a night or two with them. And they cried when they saw me and my sisters because I can really tell that they care about me and my family because of their stories.

Auntie Cres, she looks so Gorgeous at 75

And my handsome Uncle Pat!

The Couple's dance was so sweet! its like they were dancing for the first time! You can really see how they love each other especially when you see how they look each other in the eye while dancing! This is the one of the sweetest moment I've seen in my entire life!

Uncle Pat, surprised her bride and everybody when he asked the emcee if he could sing for his bride well who can say no to him! its their night! He has a very nice voice! And you can see that my auntie was embarrassed and was blushing that time! :)

Their cake was the bomb! sarap lang!

THIS IS THE ALMOST COMPLETE PORTRAIT OF THE STA.ANA CLAN

Ocean Motioon

Step Up Revolution was an AWESOOOOME movie! They stepped up the level of dance choreography of each dance scenes in the movie! You can see also see the passion of the stars in their art, Dancing and literally a piece of art from junk, to graffiti and even into forks and knives!

Opening scene palang super ganda na! literally na pa nga nga ako e!

Break the Rules, Do what you want and Stand Up for what you believe in! That is the message of the movie, Break the rules doesn't mean that you will do what is wrong, but letting yourself do what your heart really desires and to not to be a person who please other people! Do you want you want, Express your talent! Stand Up for what you believe in, Fight for what is right for you and the benefit of other people don't be pushed around people who has higher social status than you.

I also love the way that some of the stars of Step Up 2 was still there! I thought Step Up 3 was their last exposure in the movie franchise! Oh I wish Channing Tatum was there!!!

The script was A++ for me, mix of comedy, seriousness and ofcourse if you listen between the lines there is a deeper message in it!

I love the OST of the film its really set up a mood for you dance! Lastly, I am not a good dancer but I know how to dance, and this movie somehow motivated me to pursue more in dancing, Well ofcourse I should start from the basic stuffs. Better than late than never to express your hidden Talents!

I watched the movie with my boyfie, I envy him because he's an awesome dancer and he already memorize some moves by just watching the movie. Jelly me.

I WANNA WATCH THIS AGAAAIN! ♥

Re-challenge!

I am re-challenging myself to update this blog regularly! You know my post Everyday Post? well, I haven't been updating everyday due to my lack of topics to post and because of my  work, I find really hard to update because of lack of time because I am tired of working and when I get home I really feel sleepy lately! SO I AM RE-CHALLENGE MYSELF TO POST EVERY OTHER DAY! ♥

Union Jack.

Who doesn't like British? Hahaha! I, myself love everything about the Brits, their movies, the actors and the actresses, their accent, the royal family, the fashion designers and of course their fashion statement! O-M-G who wouldn't?

AND I AM IN LOVE WITH THEIR FLAG! (this is not being unpatriotic to my country! I love the Philippines!!) The Union Jack was a big hit way back before it was printed on shirts, dresses and bags, I think it was in demand when the Union Jack was printed on mugs and plates as remembrance or souvenir from someone who went to the UK. My Grandparents has a tea set printed with the Union Jack! :)

Why I like it as a Fashion Piece?

1.) It is eye-catching!

2.) Because of the color blue!

3.) they can go with any Icons like Rolling stones, Crown, or the Keep calm versions.

4.) It is simple yet glamorous in a way. :)

Well, this is only my point of view. Hihihi!

Puff puff and away.

I don't have the princess type of childhood so while growing up or should I say mostly my  high school life I made bad decisions in my life, but it doesn't mean I am a bad person. These decisions includes SMOKING.

So started smoking when I was 14 years old because I am not that expressive of myself back then but now I seldom smoke because I know now how to handle my problems and I can really express myself now. I can really tell the world if I am happy, sad, pissed or whatesoever.

Back then and still I find it an escape when I really don't know what to do anymore. But listen now, I am not a chain smoker! I smoke yes, but not every hour or every day, I rarely smoke now unlike before every after school I smoke with my friends and every TGIF nights I smoke a lot!

I am not really proud of my escape goat when I have problems but I am sure I am not the only one who did this.

Do I regret it? Yes and No. Yes because my lungs became weaker, my asthma was triggered again when I was 14 that caused me to be hospitalized for almost two weeks. No because I honestly felt relieved when I smoke.

Will I continue smoking? I hope not, knowing that I have an awesome bestfriend and boyfriend to run to when I have problems. And my body doesn't long for the presence of a cigarette.

Studying Latte Art.

As I said on this post, I am a newly hired Barista for McCafe. So I wanted to do better in my job by researching on Latte Art. A Cafe Latte should have a marble effect on it, you should see the espresso and milk alternately, at the moment I only two types of Latte Art, the Pre-pouring where the steam milk does it work to provide marble effect by slowly pouring the milk into the coffee. And the other one is the spiral effect where you pour the steam milk and make sure you have a velvety texture form on the middle of the cup and you will twirl it with the use of the tip of the thermometer. This is an example of pre-pouring.

So I was really curious on making other designs on a cafe so, I searched for Latter Art look how lovely these coffee arts!

I also researched some videos on the internet, and I found these two videos really helpful

If only I have an equipment like the one we have in the cafe here at home I will really really practice everyday to improve my Cafe Latte. And I found these McCafe photos, I just hope we can do the same in our store.

Next time I will search on how to make the perfect Cappuccino dome! :)

Insomniac in american colors.

No need to explain. The title says it all. GOODMORNING!
Forgive my vanity. I am just bored.

Lastly, PLEASE FOLLOW ME!

One late lunch.

I was supposed to post this early, but I got busy so I totally forget to blog about this day.
It was late lunch around 2 pm @ Cafe Dozo a Japanese Restaurant at Rublou brookside. What I love about this restaurant is that they just don't sell Japanese food they also sell Korean food! Their food is tasty and flavorful, also their menu has variety of foods to choose from from appetizers, burgers, sushi, bento meals, party meals and I forgot their term of their version of Shabu-Shabu and take note. You satisfy your tummy starting100 Php!

My lunch buddy Gabriel! was up for japanese food!

I ordered Beef Bulgogi and a set of California Maki. The Bulgogi is so flavorful and its has a little spicy taste in every bite! So perfect with the warm rice and the sauce that is included in your meal. This is only for 100 pesos, Every cent is worth it! :)

Lately my addiction to SOLA has returned! I really love the Raspberry and Peach flavor of Sola flavored Iced Tea.

Gab's food was Tokantsu gaah I forgot what they his meal its complete with california maki and potato balls as its side dish and don't forget the salad. This costs for 140 with a regular Iced tea which we added extra to upsize it into large iced tea.

AG also wanted to try their milk tea, that doesn't really taste like milk more like coffee.

MY TUMMY WAS SATISFIED! AND WHAT WE SPENT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT!

Let them eat cake.

A watched the movie Marie Antoinette. She was the French Queen around 17th Century. She became Queen in such a young age. Well the story revolves around the french court or so they say the Nobles of their time. The story is quite tragic because she was unhappy from the very beginning leaving her hometown to marry a total stranger who first did not appreciate her, yet she adapted on the way of leaving in the french court.

She has everything a girl could ask of, Money, jewelries, clothes, and she partied all night. But you see  material things is not enough for someone to be happy. So she had an affair with a person who truly admire her more than her husband. Yet I know she already fell in love with her husband, you can see that she really cares for him and for her children.

Even though her life revolves around material things and earthly living, she has this motherly touch to her children.
The movie actually revolves on their extravagance of  living, gambling, being a shopaholic in terms of everything, clothes, jewelries, and their gigantic hair dresses. For me, Renaissance Era was the most fashionable era ever. Look at their clothes, their hairdresses and shoes and their jewelry. :)

Things I liked about movie other than the story was, the dresses, the feathers, the hats, the jewelries all of them are in pastel colors that why they caught my attention and lastly, THE PASTRIES!! The cakes, the macaroons, the cupcakes and they rest of cute little pastries that can be paired with tea. AAAAH! I can call that heaven! :)
